Welcome to Diamond Y Quarter Horses in Windom, Texas.  We are the home of King of Cooke County, a beautiful perlino son of Cooke County ETC.  

King of Cooke County was recently tested by UC Davis.  He is homozygous black, homozygous agouti, and homozygous cream.   In addition, King of Cooke County carries the dun gene.  He has also tested N/N for HERDA.

We breed quality foundation quarter horses with the added bonus of color.  Our broodmare band features the bloodlines of Poco Bueno, Leo, Blackburn, Joe Hancock, Driftwood, Skipper W, Cutter Bill, Colonel Freckles, Doc Quixote, and Doc Tari.
